The 3DS is the best console in history. It's the first 3D gaming system without glasses ever! It's also the first console to let a Mii or something else into the world on your screen! If the 3D gets too much, you can even turn it off if you want, and just play a normal game.
It's got a lot of new features too.
You can watch films, play normal DS and DSi games, and make new virtual friends on streetpass.
It also has a Gyroscope and a Motion Sensor, so if you spin or tilt the 3DS, it will notice!
There are also four cameras, in different positions, to take photos of different things!
Also, there is a big new round button above the control pad. It's the analog circle pad, and you can turn it or move it around! It is needed in some games.
If you're in the middle of a game, and you want to go back to the homepage, you can the press the 'home' button on the bottom of the 3DS and it'll take you back to the homepage while you're game freezes, until you go back.
